Pedicure Time!

Last Monday (6-22-09), while we were in Branson, Trinidy and Tabor decided to give Kadynce a Pedicure for her birthday. Trinidy and Tabor had recently gotten their first pedicures, and they thought it would be a nice gift for Kadynce. They were soo cute scrubbing her toes and painting her nails.

Branson Family Potluck

Last Wednesday (6/24/09) while we were in Branson at our family reunion, we had an extended family potluck lunch. After lunch Aunt Louise, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Rosie, Grandma Donna, and Whitney played the dulcimers. Grandma Donna sang a song she wrote about Jerry and Louise. The kids wanted to get involved also, so they performed a skit called,"The Invisible Bench."

Donna and Rosie Dance with Island Fire in Branson

Also on Tuesday (6/23/09), during the show where the performers tried to get the audience to come see their shows, a group called Island Fire performed. After they danced they "tried" to teach one of the dances to some people in the audience. Grandma Donna and Aunt Rosie were to selected from the audience to try and learn the dance (in front of everyone!)

"But Here In Topeka....."

Tuesday night (6/23/09), various performers from around Branson came to our resort to try and entice the people in the audience to go and see their shows. One performer heard that a bunch of the kids were from around Topeka and brought them all up front with her and sang Loretta Lynn's "One's on the way."

Branson's Table Rock Beach 6-22-09

The second day we were in Branson we headed out to Table Rock. Tabor and her cousins had fun playing in the water and trying to "catch" the small fish that were swimming in the water around us.

Softball & Baseball

We've been pretty busy in the evenings following the kids around to various softball and baseball games. We wouldn't have it any other way. We enjoy watching any sports/activities the kids are involved in.....we know we are blessed and the kids will only be this age for a short time....
If you look close at the batting pictures, you can see the ball. I'm still trying to get the perfect bat and baseball picture of Cory....
